Qui est Sandrine Moser?:
Bonjour!! I am a French native. I was born in Valence in the south of France. I studied at the University of Grenoble- Stendhal III where I graduated in Sciences of Language. Later I attended the IUFM (Institut Universitaire de la Formation des Maitres) to become an elementary school teacher.I moved to the United States and continued my career in teaching. I taught Kindergarten for 1 year in a private school in Southern California. Next, we moved to a tiny town called Bear Valley in Northern California where I taught French and Spanish in the high school for 3 years.
We continued our journey that ended in Maine. I worked at L’Ecole Française du Maine for 3 years as an administrative assistant and assistant teacher in the pre-school.It was a fabulous experience to be able to feel as if I were in France in the middle of Maine.
As several Franco-phones are on their way in establishing “une Alliance française” in Portland to promote french language and culture, I thought it was a great opportunity for me to start teaching older kids again.
I have 2 teenagers that need to practice their French to be able to speak with my family back in France. I also decided to teach beginner “young” or not so young adult as many of my friends have been asking me.
Besides teaching, reading, playing Ukulele, knitting, skiing, decorating I enjoy building furniture and making crafts.
